It is the first day of school. Hopefully it will be a good one. I will post an update later on it.

  • Aug. 27th, 2008 at 3:06 AM

There was a staff tent party the other day and I attended. It was pretty awesome.

First Driving Lesson

  • Aug. 20th, 2008 at 11:37 AM

I have my first driving lesson today. I have not driven (probably not correct but what eves) in a while and I know I am a little rusty so it might not be a good lesson. Also the driving instructor is has a very thick Indian accent and I know I won't be able to understand him. I couldn't even understand him on the phone lol.

On a side note, school is coming up quick and I am kinda looking forward to it and kinda not. I kinda do want to go back to school only to meet to new friends, hopefully. I kinda don't want to go back to school because I don't really need it I have all my credits, community hours and I received an 86% average. Also I will be doing courses that I don't normally do so it could be a good thing or a bad thing.

The reason I am coming back to school is because I don't know what to do in life. I am taking course that have interested me and that I have received fairly good marks in but never continued on with them. I have an idea of what I want to do but I don't have the essential skills yet to put that plan into action.  Hopefully I will later on in life though because it would be so bad ass.

I will post about my driving lesson after it happens.

Peace.

Driving lesson was pretty good. I have one bad habit other than that I am good.

We ate the Trix. It was Trix Time.

  • Aug. 3rd, 2008 at 1:45 PM

So due to recent bad events my friends convinced me to eat my box of Trix that I had been saving for a bad day.

I choose to share this special and historic event with Jake Jones and Jordan Guilbault because they were at the house at my time. No offense to anyone else. I didn't finish the box so there is still more.

Here are the pictures.

And there is a video.

A message from Jonny.

Through the last year of this band it's integrity was something that has always been questioned. Due to the snowball effect of rumors and shit talking it's almost impossible to back track and  preach your sincerity to anything or anyone based of the sole reason that they're already convinced from what others have told them. Every single person knows exactly what it feels like to be judged without true trial. I know exactly what this is like, I went through years of being told I was a rapist and pedophile based on what people heard from others. You can't even defend yourself against accusations like that, because rapists and pedos are the scum of the earth, and if someone is convinced that's who you are, it's pretty close to impossible to prove them wrong. People who didn't like me started a bunch of shit about me and it was englufed in bullshit and burned the globe like a prairie fire.

When I was in the band I felt like I constantly babysat them, telling them " No don't talk to young girls", or "No you can't fuck that girl". I felt like all the things I get accused of were the exact things they were doing and after I left the band thats exactly what happened, they fucked girls on tour because no one was there to be the voice of reason or more importantly the voice of straight edge. Because being in an edge band to them had nothing to do with being straight edge, they wanted to be popular and get laid. No one actually understands how hard it is to be resposible for how people interpet straight edge when you have a band full of people who don't actually give a shit about it, but me and Shane (when he was in the band) and I can't speak for Donny cause I never met him, but I heard he's a good dude.. It's alot easier to say your straight edge, then it is to be straight edge for most people it seems. People can say whatever they want about me, but not one person can comment on this saying of a girl I fucked in the states while I was on tour that was underage. But I could sit here and name off bands and people that shit talk me that actually do fuck young girls on tour and do creep on anything with an "X" in their myspace name that are suppose to be setting an example, but me doing that would make me even worse than those who talk about me. I'm not saying I'm perfect but I will say I'm not the dude you probably hate. I left the band for alot of reasons, the main reason being my mother being terribly ill. I'm back now, love me or hate me, I'm back.

The guys who were on the last tour bailed on the shows because they thought that the drives were to long so decided to go home. That was the last time I was gonna let someone else make the band I put so much hard work into look like shit again. So I apologize and I promise you this wont happen ever again, if a show is booked, we'll be there.

Tbr>
Yes I'm straight edge and yes I give a fuck about straight edge and yes this band is once again straight fucking edge.

To anyone that has beef get over it and grow up.
Cut the "he said/she said" act, no one cares.

Mountain Biking in Haliburton

  • Jul. 23rd, 2008 at 3:24 PM

Day 1

The trip started on Monday (July 21). When they arrived, which was around 12, I brought my stuff out and started to pack it into the S.U.V. There was absolutely no more room after my bag went in but I still had stuff to pack so I had to leave some stuff behind. No biggie. We left my house around 12:45 and continued to the gas station.

In the S.U.V. (which was very small) was Greg (driver), Travis, Dave (Greg's little brother) and I. It wasn't a bad ride up either we didn't get lost and no problems with the car. Although we did get hit by a crazy wind/rain storm, it was blowing the S.U.V. around. Besides that nothing happened.

We stopped in Haliburton for food. We ate at a restaurant called McKecks. It wasn't bad they had pretty good food. We payed and then left.

We continued on with our journey to get to Haliburton Forest. We finally arrived there and went to the check in office. This is where mustache (the attendee at the front desk) started to charge us for things that we did not know about.  Greg had called earlier and he had asked about prices and they told him the prices but they did not tell Greg that it was $15 a night and $15 a person.  I had to shell out some money and same for Greg so that we could pay for the others. But  mustache did throw in some free trail maps! Woot!

Our convoy of one car drove to our campsite and we had finally arrived. Success!

The S.U.V. was packed more than this we had taken out some chairs and other things but this is basically how packed it was.

We decided to set up the campsite which surprisingly did not take a lot of time.  This is what our campsite looked like (it was really dark sorry).

Our campsite was pretty nice looking as well we had a large amount of room and beautiful view of the water.

Well thats enough photo's for now. Until the next paragraph.

So after we decided to go for a ride and check out the this one trail that they suggested, it was called the Normac Trail. It was pretty awesome. It was a pretty technical trail that had some steep inclines that were pretty challenging. The people who I was with seemed to be enjoying it to. But then Dave got a stick or something stuck in his derailleur and it just got fucked up. The derailleur was twisted up and into his spokes. It was messed up. Here it is with out the rear wheel.

As you can see its just messed up and part of the frame is bent to. Needless to say, Dave was out for the night.

Greg and Dave told us to keep continuing on but Travis and I decided to stick with them. Travis and I did how ever continue on the trail backwards and meet Greg and Dave back at the campsite.

We all meet up and then decided to go for a swim. The water was very cold but it felt good after riding.

Dave made dinner which was Beef Stroganoff. It was pretty good.

After dinner we had our own jobs to do like collect fire wood and wash dishes and jobs like that. Travis and I got firewood. Travis got the kindling and little logs while I tried to saw/hack some large logs. Trying to saw/hack some logs took quite a lot of time not just for me but for everyone who tried.  So we just kept constantly feeding the fire.

Greg had bought some marsh mellows and chocolate and some cookies to make smores (they couldn't find crackers, I don't know how). Those smores were a very good dessert. We sat around the fire and talked for a while and then decided to go to sleep.

Day 2

I woke up the next morning (the last one to wake up) to Greg asking me a question about how I like my bacon. I replied I like it "rubbery". So I get up and get dressed and then eat breakfast (I have a video just ask me for it, its around 5 minutes long). It was a breakfast of champions if I do say so myself. It was lime!

Now we had decided to ask the front desk how much the mountain bike rentals were. So Greg and Dave went and left Travis and I to clean up or do what ever. Travis and I realized that all the cleaning utensils was in Greg's S.U.V. So we just sat around and waited till they got back.

Greg and Dave got back and told us that it was $25 for half a day and $35 for a full day plus a $200 dollar deposit. This could only be done by credit card. We all agreed on fuck that. So Dave stayed and maned our campsite while we went out for a ride.

So Greg, Travis and I got ready for a few hours of awesome trails......or so we thought. Our posse decided on getting water first which was back at base camp. This was pretty much a warm because we had two inclines going to to the water and from the water. The posse filled up their water receptacles and we trudged back up the hill (well Greg and Travis did but I didn't, they didn't listen for some reason when I said you need to hit this with speed, pfft what ever there loss). We had a large route planned so it was going to be fun.  We entered Poachers trail and started our ride. At about half of Poachers Trail is when it started to turn to shit. It was not well maintained and just about every hill you couldn't make up. It was fairly annoying but still Greg, Travis and I were having fun. From here we decided to hit The Pass which turned out to be a fairly nice trail. I did how ever experience a large amount of pain during this trail. This is what had happened, on Poachers Trail I had fallen trying to get up and over a large rock on a hill and fell onto the rock then the bike made contact with my femur and testicles. Wow that was painful but when I decided to get up I got on my bike and tried to clip in but my foot slipped off the pedal and it came around and hit my shin. Fuck I haven't done that in years.  But on The Pass I did the same thing and hit the same fucking shin and same fucking spot. Near the the end of The Pass I was leading and so I decided to wait, I saw Travis so I decided to go and I guess both of my wheels were stuck and I tried to pedal and my bike just shot out from underneath me. It was very weird. We continued on the trail and then came out of it and decided to go onto Redstone Vista. The fucking description was so off on this one by a lot I would have to say. If the trail had been maintained it would have been doable. Alright so the description of Redstone Vista was a large incline and and large downhill. Large to them must be way bigger than what we thought. I did the uphill sort of (there was one patch of jagged rocks that I decided to get off and walk up and then continued biking). For an example imagine the Wall of Pain and then throw in lots of rock gardens (some doable, some not) and throw in the hill being washed out at parts and you have the Redstone Vista hill. No complaints because I did it but wow it was hard lol.

There was a nice picnic spot and a nice scenic view. We stopped here and ate some snacks. There was lot's of toads so we nicknamed the top of the hill Toad hill due to the large amount of toads. We came down the Redstone Vista downhill which was pretty good and we connected with Ben's Trail. This was one of the worst trails that we had been on. The most amount of time that we were on our bikes constantly riding was maybe 10 minutes. There were trees that had been killed for logging down all over the trail and covered in large rocks and it was just bad in general.

From Ben's Trail we connected with Krista Trail which was the worst trail we had ever been on. It was all washed out and had dead trees fallen all over the trail, o and this was an incline to. We sucked it up and just kept going up it till we hit this trail to the side of  Krista Trail that had no name and we took that because the hill of Krista Trail just kept going. We ended up coming out on the road and we took the road back to our campsite.

When we got back we told Dave how the trails were and he had some doubts until Greg and Travis said the same thing. We had some lunch, hamburgers, they were alright and we let them settle for a bit and went for a swim.

The whole plan of the swim was to go to these rocks that we though you could jump off of, but we figured that the lake wasn't deep enough because we could still see the bottom from where we were in the water. So we headed back in and Greg decided to stay in so we all gave him our noodles (damn right we had noodles, hellz yeah!) and Travis, Dave and I got out. This is Greg with all the noodles.

The other plan was that Greg and Travis would stay back at the campsite to get firewood while I took Dave out for a ride. Dave and I got ready to go out and then left to get water and go for a ride.

Dave and I had decided to go and finish the Normac Trail seeing how the rest of the trails were shit and we hadn't finished that one.  We entered it and started the trail. It was pretty awesome and right at the spot where Dave broke his bike I realized that was the half point for the trail. So we kept going and the second half of the trail was better then the first. It was pretty awesome and this was also the first time that I saw other mountain bikers on the trails. The bugs were terrible on the trails and I had put some Off on and asked Dave but Dave had forgotten and one of the other mountain bikers had heard this and gave Dave some bug spray. It was pretty nice so we stayed with them because they were heading back on the road to another trail. We stuck with them until they stopped in front of Ben's trail and I saw them do this so I stopped and road back and warned them not to go on that trail. They were very thankful and they decided to go on The Pass which was an alright trail. Dave and I headed back to the campsite and started preparing for dinner.

Greg and Travis while we were gone had collected a large amount of firewood and what I mean by that was Travis just stole a bunch of logs from our neighbours large wood pile. The neighbours weren't up so it was all good.

Dave made dinner, we had macaroni and cheese and hot dogs in the mac and cheese. It was alright but hot dogs don't deserve to be in mac and cheese in my opinion. We cleaned up and then listened to the trip's song, Beastie Boys- Girls. Pretty bomb song I'm listening to it as I'm typing these two sentences. Sorry got a little side tracked. We were just sitting around wondering what to do so we decided to go for a walk with the football. I had noticed that there was a trail that lead to the base so we took that and must have taken a different turn and ended up at the Wolf Center. They had an empty parking lot so decided to just pass the ball there. After a while we decided to play 500 and had a fun time doing that until Dave threw the ball back to Greg and it went into the forest. We couldn't find it after that so we decided to head back to the campsite. It was a good idea anyways because it got dark fast.

As soon as we got back to the campsite I started a fire and we roasted marsh mallows, smores and weiners. I started to fool around with my camera and these are some of the pictures that came out (I took that stupid date thing off).

In every picture I have taken with Greg he either has a retarted face or hes a creeper.

Thought this one looked pretty neato.

This is the only normal fire photo that I got and it was with the same settings as the others.

I still have more pictures which are pretty awesome but I think I have enough already so yeah. After I took all those pictures Greg decided that he wanted to go for a swim. So he got changed and headed out into the water.

GANGSTA GREG IN DA HOUSE!!!!

Greg entering the water.

He's getting out there.

That little spot is either Greg or an Alien. I don't know.

So after Greg's little swim he came out and then we just sat by the fire and talked and ate smores. We then started to get tired so we went to bed.

Day 3

So this day started off as me waking up getting dressed and then packing all my stuff up and putting it into my car. This mornings breakfast comprised of Fruity Hoops and nothing else.  We ate and packed up everything and tried to get out of there before 12 or else they would have charged us for another day. We got all of our stuff packed up and we left our campsite at 11:30.

We had to stop for gas and all we had pooled together was $10.50 until Travis say that the gas station had a TD Canada Trust ATM machine so we ended up getting like $40 worth of gas. Yeah we probably would have been screwed if that ATM had not been there.

Well peace out till the next post.

It's lime!

Posting.

  • Jul. 20th, 2008 at 10:50 PM

Well I have a lot to talk about but the majority of it is not going to be put on here.

To start I had a pretty cool weekend. Nothing interesting just cool.  A couple of my friends came up and we had fun.

One thing that is coming up though is my three day trip in Haliburton. A couple friends and I are going mountain biking up there. Should be fun.

Hopefully I get a job.

24 Hours of Summer Solstice

  • Jun. 22nd, 2008 at 6:28 PM

This was the first 24 hour I have competed in. My dad used to do them every year and I would go and watch ( I was too young to actually compete), but this year I joined a team and competed. We had seven riders. The course was 17km long and I did the course in 1:05 for both laps. There is a lot more to talk about I just have don't have time right now so I will finish this later.

Love this Quiz thing!

First Rugby Game

  • Apr. 17th, 2008 at 7:51 AM

So I have my first rugby game today. Hopefully I don't get hurt, because that would just ruin the rest of my school year. I hope that people help me today because I don't know the plays. I know a couple and that anything cold means on the right side or what ever they call it, they call the left and right side different names like port and starboard.

Well wish me good luck and god speed cause I'm going to need all of that.

Life

  • Apr. 16th, 2008 at 1:14 PM

Life is weird. Life just kind of happens. My life for example, I have to get rugby shoes and a mouth guard for tonight. I can't because I am to busy with other things. This is the way that my life goes. There is no middle ground for me. I am either doing nothing or I am doing everything. This week that we are currently in has to be the most busiest week I have had in a while.

I have to look for a summer job.

My body feels weird today.

The Mist.

  • Mar. 31st, 2008 at 8:07 PM

This time of the year sucks... hmm...sucks an old used tampon, like its been in a prostitutes poon for like a month, and she has at least 7 stds. Yeah thats how much this season sucks. I do like to complain a lot but I actually hate this season. Like I want to invent a machine that just skips to like the good spring, like 15-20 degrees and sunny and full of plant life. Well I'm done complaining.

NOT!
Well for today.

When Shit Hits the Fan.

  • Mar. 23rd, 2008 at 4:58 PM

You ever hear that expression? My life right now is like that, except it has a timer and its counting down. I don't have to much time left. My life isn't bad, I just have important decisions that I can not come to a conclusion right now. Also I am getting treated older than I am but at the same time, younger than I am, if that makes sense. At times when I am supposed to be somewhere for a certain time, I get treated older. Thats not bad but when you don't know thats what you parents are doing it fucks things up. For example, I was supposed to go snowboarding on Friday with my dad, I slept in till 11 and woke up and asked him if we are still going snowboarding. he replies no you slept in. Oh I understand thanks for telling me that. Never doing anything with my dad again, seems immature but I don't care. Maybe I should do that to them. Oh shit there 25th anniversary is coming up, I should just fuck everything up. No that's to mean. It only happens once. Some of those tough decisions are jobs (not to bad), what I am doing after high school, fuck lost my train of thought theres more though. I will just talk about the ones l listed then. Jobs thats ok, just that my parents only gave me two options, work as a lifeguard or swim instructor or I have to work at my fathers work. I would work at my dads place, its fun to work there, but I would have to find a ride there (don't have my g2 or a car) also I would have to be there for 6 or 7. Working part time I think though so not that bad, but still. My dad thinks he can do what his dad did to him, which is work at his work and find his own way there. My dad had cousins that worked there to and could drive him. My cousins live in like butt fuck no where close to me. Fucking bullshit. So i questioned this the other day with my mom,dad wasn't around, I told her that I don't like the options that they gave me for jobs. Her reply was you don't have to pick one of those, awesome sure sounded like I did.  What ever. I also don't want to think of what I am going to do after high school, to be honest it scares me, just because I don't know what I want to take in college or anything like that or what job I want to do for the rest of my life. I just don't like thinking of it.  I am thinking about moving out to B.C and finding a job there and just never talking to parents again. Then one day I will show up and be like 'Ello, I am your son. Just to see there reaction. Only thing is, I don't have enough money to do that. There are other reasons, but there are not up for discussion right now. Well this really feels good to release all this, sounds weird and probably a little emo, but fuck it is pissing me off beyond belief. Peace out.

Winter

  • Mar. 18th, 2008 at 3:33 PM

People are pussies. They call them selves Canadian but yet are complaining this year because they can't take anymore snow. "This winter has been to long" if I can point out that it was so warm in December I saw people just wearing sweatshirts and pants. Like what the fuck, this winter is different than all the other ones I will give you that, but this is what our earth needs. We are fucking it up with our cars and such and destroying the environment, so to have this much snow and to actually be cold I am pretty happy. So basically this winter has been awesome, and to all the people that have complained this winter enjoy the fucking rain fuckers.

Four Day Weekend

  • Feb. 19th, 2008 at 8:10 AM

Well this weekend we had four days off, Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday. It was fucking sick. I will write down more shit when I get home.
